Nah. That is the case. Epstein ain’t nothing but a distraction for the chronically online activists. “Venezuela - WAT ABUUT MAH PAPURS!? Iran - MUH PAPURS!!!” It’s just a meme, always was. There won’t ever be any justice. But it will keep the sheep amused long.
Everything is grey, white or beige these days, boooring! Let’s have personal and fun things, even if they’re harder to keep clean! :)
Not saying anything about being friends, but if you guys can’t find a way to behave, work and exist together after Trump, there is really no future for you. Only Trump2 will win.
Fair, fair. As long as the voter/supporter knows and believes the allegations. The whole Epstein shit is such a meme-y mess that there is no sure info of anything. I could personally send in a letter of how I know my neighbor, who has never been outside of this country, eat a baby there and it would go into the evidence pile. There is a reason why they aren’t publishing everything lol.
Not an american so I’m not following the whole childrapingfest so closely. But I don’t think a person who is uninformed and has their head filled with propaganda is a pedo themselves. My country voted perfectly againts it’s best in the last election, we’re a full on MAGA fanboy land just because the two MAGA parties (one is “conservative” and other is racist that gets funded by Russia) had a very effective fear-mongering campaigns in the national news. Are these voters all idiots that can’t be helped and should be excluded? No, they just trusted the news they consumed.
Sure, continue dividing your country into two sides. Let’s see how that will make everything okay.

I have tipped if the service was good, but only with few coins. I have no trust that the tip given on card would go to the wait staff and not mystically dissappear on the way to the booking. When I worked in restaurants, I have only gotten the cash tips, or my share of them. The card tips have been shared with only the real in-house employees at the end of “season”, not with people doing trainings or working there only for month or two or occasionally filling in for someone being sick.

At least with Apple I know I don’t own shit, not the device or the data.

I use JustWatch to hunt down movies and series, but often the one I’d like to watch exists nowhere.
Only issue with that page is that no matter what you’re looking for, it advertises Prime as “has similar!” in a sneaky way that gets through adBlock. Luckily it’s easy enough to make a filter.

Well, but I’m used to WinRAR and never had any issues. Only need it once every few months. And it’s pretty fun when the software tries to tell me that it isn’t a free software. What a silly thing to say!

Shhh you’re a free software
No, I’m busy keeping one happy, content and well taken care of.

Same here, haven’t had any issues with the free version so far.
Huh, I don’t really have much advise to that, but it’s an understanble reaction. I gotta say that there have been times my first reaction to a reply has been negative, but upon rereading it I have noticed that it was just my reaction. I like that here I learn new stuff every day and that people are willing to politely correct me (/share their opinion or experience on the matter.) I hope you find your place, if not here then maybe on some other site!
At first, I was very cautious here. After Reddit, I was expecting that people would go through post histories and attack me for misunderstandings and call me an AI bot, like some users do in sites like Reddit… But no. I haven’t had any issues, even when I have put out more controversial opinions or asked dumb questions. I have gotten downvoted occasionally when I have been wrong or misunderstood, which is fair. I have gotten replies from people with different opinions, but they have been polite and sticked in the topic, which is fucking amazing. I haven’t had a single even slightly unpleasant interaction so far.
Folk here have been very helpful, polite, funny or neutral. I’m actually becoming more brave at posting and commenting, and I no longer feel fearful/unpleasant when I see that I have an unread notification. Of course there are communities I have blocked or instances that I avoid but that’s just to curate my feeds.

Two minute hate would be pretty fun and relaxing group excercise!

I don’t see EVs ever becoming good for everywhere. Here it usually gets as low as -20 to -45 degrees in Celcius during winter so you’d need a heated garage at your home and another at your workplace to have an EV work well, or hell, even start. With an older car, you can just take the battery indoors for the night and pop it back in the morning and be on your way. And having a heated garage (and the cost of building EV’s battery, building the car, shipping it) is already worse for the environment, so no, it will never work here.
Just developt the gas (gas as in gas, not benzin or diesel) and use them here, EV’s where it’s warmer all year around.
And no, fuck them Chinese spyware cars. And other spyware cars. Put the cameras up your ass.
Welding is quite handy skill in life, cars or no cars!
Only way I have ever learned, in school, is by writing notes by hand into my own notebooks. Rewriting text book chapters, taking notes from teacher, writing answers down. It takes time, longer than taking notes on a laptop. But writing on laptop just doesn’t “stick” the information into my head. Back in high school, I was the last student to still hand-in my essays etc in paper and my teachers were very happy to grade them, one told me it brought her good memories from the times there were less screens and teaching was easier. No wonder…
When I had laptop in glass, it was very easy to play games, watch Netflix or scroll Reddit. I had no self-control, I was not able to force myself to focus in learning. They started using laptops and tablets in glasses when we were 13 and most of us found ways to play games etc on them, bypassed the restrictions. And we shared the knowledge on that. Oh, also I dropped out eventually.
