Ours was on a wall across from the office, but the wall opened up to the cafeteria just next to it. I recall students sometimes using it during lunch.

A hypothesis to investigate isn’t a bad idea, that’s the scientific method. Staying married to it at all costs is a major problem.
I just read Framed by John Grisham and Jim McCloskey…and it’s insane how far the police and prosecution will go to “save face”.
There’s one story in that book where the actual murderer came in to the police station AND CONFESSED with details that only he could have known, because he felt guilty about the wrong person being tried for the murder…and prosecution continued on the innocent person, while the actual murderer was ignored.
It’s an enraging read. I actually had to put it down a few times, because I was so frustrated.
And, of course, as bad as it is that these innocent people are being prosecuted (and some even executed), another problem is that the actual murderer is still roaming free…and many of these crimes are now unsolved, because the police were so focused on the innocent person that they ignored everything else.
“Biden’s economy”

It’s a novelty vehicle.
It’s too big for many people. It’s not as functional (in terms of towing and hauling) as a regular pickup. People who buy pickups for business uses are, for the most part, are going to be very nervous about buying an electric vehicle from a relatively new manufacturer.
Even if you put aside the issues with Elon: The issue with the Cybertruck is that Elon never understood it was a novelty vehicle. The traditional auto manufacturers make these novelty vehicles from time to time, but the difference is that they understand what they’re building and know they’re only going to sell 10,000 or something per year, and probably for a short run.
Elon’s so far up his own ass that he doesn’t understand why everyone isn’t buying one.
I laughed the first time I heard a MAGAt talking about how bad Biden was at speaking. I seriously thought they were joking, because Trump’s word salad is far worse than any stutter Biden ever uttered.
…they were not joking. They seriously believe Trump is some great orator.

I meant including gas.
Looks like there’s one, the Nissan Versa.

I mean, are there any cars available in the US for just $20k? I’m pretty sure a base Mazda 3 was more than that when we bought ours five years ago (before the pandemic, and ours is a higher trim model). I don’t think they’re making the really small cars any more (like the Toyota Yaris).
Short version, I’m skeptical of this price point for even a small pickup. Great if they can do it.

You actually can nearly do that. Facebook inexplicably showed me how a few weeks ago. If a friend reshares something, you’ll see it, but it removes all groups, etc. It was stunning how little content actually comes from friends.
On the Facebook site (I’m sure it can be done via app, too, but I didn’t look), click on the menu near the top right, then click Feeds (under Social). Then click on Friends on the left.
Does this sound like a man who had all he could eat?

Trump seems to think the trade deficit is some sort of debt that we’ll have to pay off in the future.
The overall goal of bringing manufacturing back to the US isn’t necessarily a bad one, but this is probably the worst way to go about doing it. One article I read pointed out that it would take many years of consistent tariffs to generate that kind of interest and investment - but anyone with half a brain knows these tariffs could be gone tomorrow, so there’s little inclination to actually try to build factories in the US based on this move. No reasonable investor would want to bet their company on Trump acting consistently.

I doubt it’s a blackmail thing, because at this point, not one of Trump’s supporters would give a damn if it was clearly proven that Trump personally took CP pictures.
I think Putin just whispers sweet nothings into Trump’s ear and controls him that way.
Or, do what the nearby horse farm does, just head to my neighborhood and leave the horse shit all over the trail and the road and people’s yards!
Seems kind of rude to me, but what do I know.

I was starting to wonder if Europe didn’t have insects, because the hotels I’ve stayed in (in Europe) that had them didn’t have screens for them.
Oh that’s nice. We visited Germany about 10 years ago and didn’t get international cell service, so we were relying on hotel wifi and other wifi hotspots. This kind of thing would have been great.
