Yeah! Why the hell should they benefit from our public infrastructure if they don’t pay their way? These are the actual parasites on society that the right wingers always claim to be so worried about.

I’m here for the shade thrown in the comments, haha.
Swedes do this with Spain. Then they complain that it’s not Swedish enough. Hella weird.
Thank you. Tried visiting the archive page but it blocked me and ironically enough wanted me to solve a captcha that’ll be used to train “AI.”
Amazon is barely a thing here in Sweden. It’s niche drop shipped garbage for the most part, very similar to Wish and the like.
They have some non-garbage stuff at the same price you find elsewhere.
They also don’t do logistics here. Utterly useless company.
I don’t think we should be satisfied until they go bankrupt. When they do, their cars and their charger network will likely cease to function properly. Perhaps that could force some legislation against bullshit online-only cloud service practices for products like these.
They were really popular though. I personally think we should’ve had these numbers since late 2023 when our unions first begun the ongoing strike against Tesla for attempting to circumvent the way our labour market works. Or at the very least when Tesla shipped in bootlickers from elsewhere.
It’s better late than never, I guess.
Here in Sweden, only 3 out of ~24,000 newly registered vehicles in March were Teslas.
That’s honestly still 3 too many, but oh well.
It is embarrassing. It’s been an alt-right hellhole for years at this point. Any excuse clinging to it should’ve been thrown out the window once he did the Nazi salute that’d make Hitler proud.
I think it largely depends on what kind of AI we’re talking about. iOS has had models that let you extract subjects from images for a while now, and that’s pretty nifty. Affinity Photo recently got the same feature. Noise cancellation can also be quite useful.
As for LLMs? Fuck off, honestly. My company apparently pays for MS CoPilot, something I only discovered when the garbage popped up the other day. I wrote a few random sentences for it to fix, and the only thing it managed to consistently do was screw the entire text up. Maybe it doesn’t handle Swedish? I don’t know.
One of the examples I sent to a friend is as follows, but in Swedish;
Microsoft CoPilot is an incredibly poor product. It has a tendency to make up entirely new, nonsensical words, as well as completely mangle the grammar. I really don’t understand why we pay for this. It’s very disappointing.
And CoPilot was like “yeah, let me fix this for you!”
Microsoft CoPilot is a comedy show without a manuscript. It makes up new nonsense words as though were a word-juggler on circus, and the grammar becomes mang like a bulldzer over a lawn. Why do we pay for this? It is buy a ticket to a show where actosorgets their lines. Entredibly disappointing.
I really hated all the moaning about people calling out that both are shitty options. The Overton window is so far to the right. Like, yeah Harris is clearly the better option but neither represent any positive moves forward.
This is my favourite. 痔 means haemorrhoid. Presumably it was meant to say 侍, samurai.
I mean it’s not the companies operating the facilities we put our trust in, but the outside regulators whose job it is to ensure these facilities are safe and meet a certain standard. As well as the engineers and scientists that design these systems.
Nuclear power isn’t 100% safe or risk-free, but it’s hella effective and leaps and bounds better than fossil fuels. We can embrace nuclear, renewables and fossil free methods, or just continue burning the world.
And the constant warmongering in the middle east.
The U.S. was never good.
