This sailor probably enjoyed your hospitality back in the day.
Thank you much!

Wife and five kids, definitely stressed about possible deporatation. Probably pretty fucked up from the war, 29. Shoots a couple of kids, 20 and 24. Fucking stupid shit. I just feel sorry for everbody.
Would be nice to know the real story.

That sounds terrible. I’ll definitely give it a try.

I’ve had raccoon, which was terrible. Never had the chance to try cat.
Sea cucumber is supposed to be a delicacy, but never had it. Sea urchin is amazing in my experience, but someone here on Lemmy said it was awful. It may be a preparation or freshness issue. I’d like to try sea cucumber.

I’ve never had cat, but have heard that mountain lion is really good. Supposedly, during WWII, lots of house cat was eaten in the UK and was called roof rabbit.
What kind of cat did you have and what were the circumstances?
One Man, One Jar.
This is fantastic! I didn’t know this standard existed.
New life goal is somehow getting this added to a production print.
Not OP, but instrumental metal for working: Karma To Burn, Red Sparowes, Pelican (Pelican can feel a little souless but that’s my opinion).

I agree with you. I still can’t make sense of it and I don’t understand how he is seen as having charisma. Even his voice is repulsive.
He’s so fake and slimy in his mannerisms.
Only thing I can figure is that many people just don’t perceive him this way and find him warm and personable.

Any reliable reporting coming out on all these boats and crews that are being blown up?
(The ‘Drug War’ has been blatantly evil for decades. We know there’s a good chance the official narrative is bullshit, and there certainly is no nuance.)
Are they fishing, smuggling, or both?
Illinois nazis? I hate Illinois nazis.

Woah, this could be really cool for certain kinds of machine motion if it is computationally easy/fast/cheap.
That’s fantastic.
I’ve known a lot folks that talk like Boomhauer, (I’ve been told I do, as well.)
Black Hole Sun and Beavis and Butthead were both on MTV back then. I don’t remember if they watched the video on the show.
Anyhow, that video was up there with NIN’s Closer for general weird awesomness. The crazy smiles and expanding eyes are burned into my memory.
Also, proto Hank Hill on Beavis and Butthead.
I remember my grandfather being very upset about the “Beaver and Butthole” show.
Rock and Roll!
What cheap woods are the most impact resistant for splintering and splitting?
What is the best way to cure wood to prevent splitting without a kiln? Slap a heavy coat of latex paint on a log/burl/root and let it sit 6mo/year?
What are the most machinable hardwoods? (In particular as regards tearout, warping, and tolerance of thin sections)
In your opinion, what is an available underappreciated or interesting wood to work?
Are you actually a wood scientist, and, if so; can I pick your brain?
Nice saw, BTW!
I’ve always heard this. Helped with pit on a friend’s dad’s drag car when I was a kid. It makes sense, but I’ve never looked into how large of an effect it actually is.
beat me to it.
I mean, twenty gigs was more than anyone would ever be able to use.
