Yeah the post was pretty low quality, I did find this though:

tldr: power demand went up faster than renewables could be installed because of heat waves particularly in India, if it was an average year then renewables would have outpaced new demand, so on this basis renewables are still expected to outpace new demand over the next 5 years as there’s still tons of projects being implemented
tbh I’ve been complaining about India for a while now, all the gains the west is making are being undone by them
I wish more countries were helping India install more renewables, low interest loans, lending tech expertise, whatever it takes

So a 4% hit to GDP when GDP last year in the US increase by 2.8% does not sound good
