It’s just such a big pet peeve of mine online.

It’s not. I’m pointing out that you’re doing the same thing you’re complaining about.

There is no other country on Earth that has “America” in the name other than the United States of America. This whole “but but but they’re all America” is just some terminally online crap.

You know what someone from Mexico identifies as? Mexican. Not a “United Statesian” despite that being the official name of the country.

Someone from America is an American. They’re also a North American. Someone from Brazil is a Brazilian. They’re also a South American. Someone from France is French. They’re also European.

The only time someone gets confused about that concept though is when it’s the USA for some reason. And only online.

“Mexico” isn’t a country. They’re the United Mexican States.

Because the UK and US have completely different forms of government?

Ehhhhhhhh.

We have two Kias. An EV6 and a Telluride, so their EV and gas lines.

They’re nice looking cars, but the “Kia quality” definitely creeps in. If we didn’t get them on dirt cheap leases I would probably be pissed lol.

There wasn’t any protocol to deal with pandemics when swine flu rolled around. The Obama admin was caught completely off guard and recognized that the office wasn’t equipped to handle something like that. Luckily swine flu ended up being extremely minor, but they took it to heart and put together a team and playbook for dealing with a pandemic.

Trump trashed that as soon as he entered office.

That’s how far we’ve fallen. Bush was a god awful president responsible for the financial crash and countless deaths in the Middle East.

But he at least had some redeeming qualities. His PEPFAR program (canceled by Trump) has also saved tens of millions of lives from HIV/AIDS in Africa. He also established the worlds largest marine protected area, the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.

Trump has no real redeeming qualities.

Pretty well, speaking from direct experience. VA has taken care of me medically. Got my degree paid for. Got a zero down home loan. Gave me connections that have supercharged my civilian career.

Virtually everyone I served with has the same experience. The Marines were nothing but good for my life. Just sucked while I was in lol.

I know there are vets out there with the opposite experience. But the ones I personally know with that experience were shitheads before the Marines and shitheads when they got out/got kicked out.

A trade embargo is not the same as a blockade.

Cuba maintains trade relations with 160 different countries. The US doesn’t prevent them from trading with other countries and doesn’t block ships to and from Cuba. They just block US companies from trading with Cuban businesses.

Apple is always doing all of that other than the fokdable, which has been turned for a long time.

AirDrop and AirPlay are always getting better between Apple products. They literally just made the iPhone titanium for better durability. It has better battery life pretty much every year.

This one is more repairable than ever with the easily removable glass.

Those are all things Apple announces every year and everyone shits on them because it’s not innovative enough, like every year needs to be 2011 again when phones were making massive leaps year over year.

Like oh, this chip is only 20% faster than the last one with only 10% better battery life. Yawn.
