  • So… The millions of jobs these “illegals” are doing don’t exist? If we’re deporting “millions” of them (but only the worst of the worst, so couldn’t be too many women and definitely not children) then that would be close to millions of jobs that now need to be replaced.

If we’re supposed to revise our expectations downwards then their jobs aren’t being staffed by “real” 'muricans after the “illegals” were kicked out… I guess the CEOs are putting their work gloves on and doing the work of millions? Makes sense, since they’re sooooo valuable apparently.

  • It’s mind boggling to me for a different reason, he has always had his cult locked in where he never dropped below 30something% no matter what he did. The fact that he actually lost some of the die hard “I’d forgive him for raping my daughter” croud is kinda wild.

  • everything we do is really just an excuse to keep our minds busy for our inevitable end.

Everything ends eventually. The point is to find joy in the moments you have, it’s only really a distraction from boredom. You either do something or you don’t, but no matter what we’re all heading towards our end. Dwelling on it not only serves very little purpose, but it can actively take time away that you could have otherwise been enjoying.

  • I only completed a couple of college classes and could never “find myself.” I started when 3d animation was “new” and every class ended up being photoshop 101 over and over so I stopped. I started up again studying computer repair technology but was more interested in physically repairing things only to find that no one does that, you just buy a new computer.

Even though I have a love for science I never felt intelligent enough to go for a degree in that field nor did I have any interest in the story I hear about the constant begging for grants that comes with the field so I never attempted to study it.

I went through a trade school for HVAC, but because of the area I live in it was more like 6+hours of traffic and 7 hours of work so being miserable every day I decided to call it quits.

Now I’m still single (at 39) working in a factory, renting a poorly insulated garage “apartment,” spending $300/month in heating bills because of it, and still miserable. My retirement plan is a nitrogen suffocation device I’ve been thinking about manufacturing when the time comes.

    1/10 wouldn’t recommend.

  • I suppose that’s more than likely true. I have the unfortunate circumstance of having my father be OBSESSED with the Fox News drama show. He’s always up to date on exactly what they tell him to believe so I guess I assume more people are like him than maybe really are.

Thankfully I don’t live with him or talk to him very often or I’d go insane…
