The right doesn’t celebrate death? Did I fall into an alternate dimension or something
I don’t know about y’all, but I’m still very much celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death. My friend and I send each other the video on a regular basis. We like it when awful people die.

Never gets old
To be fair, his death was fucking fantastic.
On principle, I don’t celebrate anyone’s death. I mourn the loss of potential to do good, however unlikely it might be to ever be realised. Imagine what his influence and charisma might have achieved, if he’d turned his bullshit around.
I do celebrate the end of people doing evil, however. I am glad he stopped being a lying, manipulative piece of shit. I hope more of his ilk will follow his example.
if he’d turned his bullshit around
I think it’s safe to say a college dropout who chooses to spread hate and misinformation to make a quick buck is probably not redeemable in any way, shape, or form.
We also celebrated Hitler’s death, what’s your point?
The right celebrates every leftists’ death. The right especially likes to celebrate trans suicides. The right has no right to complain about fairness.
The right does nothing but complain about “fairness”.
Hypocrisy and projection are firmly built into the right-wing mindset.
They’re permanent victims cuz they’re permanent pussies.
Maybe we should start giving them a reason to feel victimized.
Sartre’s quote about antisemites

Every time I do it makes me laugh

You wait until trump dies. The whole world will be having a week long street party.
Let’s be real once JD becomes president whatever brakes were in place are off. It’ll get way worse before we can vote him out.
I just want to be able to hang out with my neighbors in the middle of the street while burning a Trump effigy and getting shitface wasted. We’ve earned it.
If he dies without seeing any consequences for his actions, I’ll be a little disappointed (and not even slightly surprised). I’d rather see him live a long and miserable rest of his life behind bars.
But I guess sometimes we have to take what we get…
He ensured that with this last election. I said it after his first election. No consequences will happen to him. We may know he did wrong. But all he will do is point out the weak points in our system. It’s on us to fix them.
I thought like this when Biden was elected. I thought it was only a matter of time before Fatboy McKiddieFiddler was behind bars…now I just want him gone. And for just one person in america to have enough spine to go after the rest of that crime family and enablers.
This is how I’ve been. As much as I’d love to see them suffer for their crimes I just want them gone from this planet as quickly as possible.
The suffering of hanging at the end of a rope or the fear of knowing the bullet’s coming is enough for me
For like a day, assuming his handlers didn’t already have a worse replacement at the ready, which is likely.
Vance is already the VP.
The day he was killed someone posted the uncensored video somewhere on the Fediverse.
I downloaded it.
Send it to friends and family.
I send it to coworkers.
I joked.
I laughed at other people’s jokes.
It was beautiful.
If you’re a fascist pigsau and don’t know how to have a good time, it’s your own fault.
My friend and I still send each other the video from time to time. Warms the cockles of my heart.
The people who have spent the last few decades spewing bile nonstop are upset when they get the mildest bit of pushback. How very predictable.
Yeah, and the right celebrated RBG’s death. And Robert Mueller’s. So what?
“But it makes you a HYPOCRITE! We’re better because we’re HONEST about wanting people dead!”
Left has always been honest about wanting to kill fash
Luke warm take: celebrating suffering of others is non-political. When you dislike someone strong enough (and you’re not, like, a committed buddhist or smth) you’re gonna, its only human.
Personally someone gleefully gloating is kind of a turn off though. I prefer my gloats with a touch of shame and self-consciousness 🤷♀️
I value this take.
If you want to celebrate that Obama, the Hamburgler, or some random celebrity died… You should.
People were mourning Matthew Perry and yet a few weeks before his death, his tell all book was full of red flag material.
I agree with you in most situations, but there are exceptions.
Well, I would not say celebrate, but it did make me quite happy for a little while once I’ve seen the video which made it clear there was no way he would survive that. That was of course before they had officially announced his death.
I absolutely will say celebrate. Said cheers and everything.
And then put on some leather couch cushions to try and cuck Mrs Vance
