There are actually three sides and only two of them are bad.

Of all the wealthy people I’ve ever read about, Buffet seems to actually care about money the least. Like’s he’s in love with the process in the way that an autistic person loves their hyper focus but if he lost everything, it wouldn’t faze him.

I always didn’t like Steven Seagal, he always rubbed me the wrong way. My mother would always bug me about it: “You don’t personally know the guy, you don’t know at all what he’s really like”. Turns out I was right mom, Fuck that sleazy bastard

Lucy Lawless on the other hand is a fantastic lady and I love how she calls out Kevin Sorbo

What I find most interesting is that Warren Buffet has come right out said it’s weird that society will reward people into being billionaires and has publicly stated that there’s is for sure a class war going on and billionaires are winning.
I think it’s nice he’s giving most of his fortune away but disappointing he hasn’t called for the system that made his fortune to be dismantled.

In hindsight I’m not totally convinced about him. I think about how Corey Feldman said he never did nothing and Corey seemed willing to burn any bridge. Not that it isn’t possible that MJ left Corey alone but still hurt others.

I feel like I was fortunate that as soon as I came to understand there was alot of buzz about this guy I wanted to understand why, did some research, and found out that he got lucky twice with corporate mergers making him alot of money.

And by “Nazis” she probably means their Jewish president

Scott Adams
I’ll never understand how a guy who build his career on lambasting the Pointy Haired Boss would think the IRL Pointy Haired Boss would make a great president.

If the Christian god was a person and he moved next door, i would move out of town. Can’t trust that bastard.

And the reason it’s “difficult to determine”
Well yes, but also because I speak a different language and I’m from a different culture and I have a limited amount of bandwidth to devote to foreigners while my own country is such a dumpster fire.

If it’s what the people of Iran want, then it’s no one else’s business to decide.
Fair enough though it’s difficult to determine what the people of Iran want being from a different country and culture half way around the world. Hope they figure it out and make it work.

All these people saying “they want to reinstitute the shah” are basically just making a strawman
From what I’ve seen, it’s Iranians in the streets but I’ll fully admit I’m far away and I’ve seen little.

If the exports weren’t mostly products made with components and raw materials that were imported, you’re thinking would be sound if we were considering the issue in isolation

This is exactly where the US is weakest and where we’ll be hurt the most. If the value of the dollar drops significantly and/or the market for Treasury Bonds collapses, the US is FUCKED.

I doubt it. The US has very little power to foment anything there. Mossad has assets in Iran but limited assets that they use sparingly. This was almost certainly an organic grassroots revolution. Now, I’d for sure agree that Mossad and the US are doing anything in their power to move things along.

Good for them that they want to overthrow their oppressors but depressing they want to replace them with new oppressors in the form of a Shah.

If Europe grows a back bone and actually starts a full on Trade War with the US, I wouldn’t be surprised if China joined in. I could see them carefully timing their action to maximize damage.

Weeeeeelll, the Nazis had illegally taken out a bunch of loans and hidden that fact with financial trickery. That’s how they managed to pay for rearmament. All those loans were coming due, the Nazis couldn’t pay and didn’t want to admit what they’d done so yeah, they invaded Poland. I mean, it wasn’t purely distraction, they also hoped to seize gold and foreign currency in Polish possession but distraction was a huge part of it.
Essentially everyone on the Left considers Liberals fair-weather friends at best and certainly not anyone who’d stick their neck out for voters.
