This issue was solved by recent updates and it is mostly related to how your audio displays at different resolutions. If you choose a zoom that fits your system, you can edit +1 hour 1080p files, with many cuts and filters, without a problem.

I don’t see America colonise Venezuela. Maybe they are coming up with new solutions. Sure, democracies can benefit from dictatorships, cheap resource etc., but they are also kind of annoying. Its not like democracies are really dependent on recourses. They can just decided to do whatever they want. Especially if they are as rich as the Americans.
