My sister (who lives several continents away) sent me a huge LEGO pirate ship . The set number 31367 31387 for those interested. I spent the evening building with the help of my 13 year old. I also took two or three drams.
I have no regrets.

It’s used interchangeably with “alcoholic drink”, often sipped like a whiskey. I doubt OP was bagging shots while he was sitting doing Lego with the kiddo.
