The sad thing is that $5000 is seen as a life-changing amount of money for a lot of people in “the richest country on earth”.

Most places want three months rent up front before you can move in.

$1,500.00 is a bit below average for a studio/one bedroom in the USA today.

Or a student could buy a beater car/motorcycle to let them commute.

Or a mobility scooter for a homebound person.

The legal system operates on the bullshit proposition that he’s only guilty if a “reasonable person” would believe he was actually offering the money.

The problem is none of his followers are reasonable.

This is one of the tools in the principle of “WE (i.e. the Epstein class) can do whatever we want, it is up to YOU (the plebs) to not fall for it”

This is how Muricans get outright lies peddled as “news” but it’s OK because no “reasonable person would believe our bullshit” so we can continue to do it… Or we can make the plastic classification logo look like a recycling logo because “no reasonable person would be stupid enough to confuse them”… and so on

and there are enough Muricans that would believe this and vote accordingly…

Most are. Some aren’t. It truly doesn’t help that the vast majority of them get their news from a single source so they never see anyone else picking apart the easily picked apart shit he spews on a daily basis to show just how stupid he is.

            Absolutely

It truly doesn’t help that the vast majority of them get their news from a single source

A sure sign of them being stupid. Taking a single source at face value is just as stupid as sending your bank account info to that Nigerian Prince that still needs help
