    I’ve never owned a smart tv. What did they think was happening before now? What data did they think was filling the storage?

      People don’t like to think, they got used to being told what to do, look at the popularity of pre trained generative AI that has been selectively aligned.

        I might be confused about something. I’m assuming “owners community” means people that bought smart tvs and kept them offline for privacy reasons. Those types are the sort of people who do think about those things.

          The community is just a subreddit for the specific tv brand, but yes some do try to think. Most use them online and regret some firmware updates. I haven’t checked in a year tho so idk what they are talking about now.
