      That smells like a false dichotomy… but, I’m heading on to other things better to do with my time than to think up examples outside those two possibilities.

        It’s not evil for me to use State-issued crypto ID for auth when opening a bank account or paying taxes or voting.

          It is if it creates artificial and unnecessary barriers to opening a bank account or voting, and if those barriers are for the profit and benefit of a cooperation rather than The People.
