That when you block someone, their comment vanishes from your sight. It is like they don’t even exist. That’s how blocking should be done. It isn’t like where on Reddit, you still have the option to click an icon next to their name and see what they’ve said that got you to block them. Why the hell is that a thing? Why should we care? If we want them blocked, we don’t want to see them ever again, including the ability to re-read what they’ve said.

    Lack of karma. It was a stupid idea that encouraged spam.

    IIRC Digg had the equivalent before with the famous powerusers.

      LOL Digg, havent thought about that dumpster fire in over a decade. Wow did they F up… Same w/ Fark, there would be no reddit if either site had some brains.

              IDK, like I said in my original post I haven’t thought of them for a decade+ and took a look and its there. Not terribly impressive from what I saw.

            There is a site called Digg, IIRC it’s only tangentially related to the original Digg though. I read a year or two ago that someone had bought the name and was making a new site that would function very differently from the original.
