Me- “I wasn’t referring to you, the subject was ___________ and the pronoun always refers to the subject!” Them- “But you said “you” so that means me!” Me- YOURE NOT THE SUBJECT forever

It’s annoying because people should exercise a bit of critical thinking instead of going ‘this comment is about me personally?’ but that’s a lot to expect right now.
