Far as I’ve been able to discern (I’m still learning geo stuff) it appears to be a patsy war between NATO and Russia. The more I see outside of US media about it, the more it’s coming across as setting up Ukraine as the eastern European Israel (with even Zelenski talking about wanting to model after Israel).
This would mirror a similar situation with the US holding on to Taiwan so severely to maintain a hold in East Asia. 💀
That said, this is all just my conjecture off of the media I come across. I’m not an expert, just a loud douche.

That’s fine, I don’t intend to back track as I learn new things. That’s part of why I’m railing on holding leaders accountable and not just happily clapping for DNC choices.
Oh I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it was enlightening as to how things are in reality. It’s enlightening as to your position. You’re literally repeating Russian propaganda talking points that couldn’t be further from the truth.
On the remote chance that you’re not doing that on purpose, you should stop reading RT, as all Russian media is state media from an authoritarian regime.
The frustrating thing about these interrogations (exaggeration) into my perspective on Zelenski/Ukraine and Xi/China is that I’ve never claimed any expertise on either of those areas.
All of my posting and ranting has been directed domestically and at Israel - because those are the two that I’m reasonably certain I can be mad at without showing my ass.
I’m fully aware I have more to learn, and I’m not even upset when wrong, just when I catch strays instead of a discussion. The ol’ no one is immune to propaganda rule does not mention me as an exemption.
I don’t even think I’m all that inflammatory about my criticisms of the DNC when my criticisms of the GOP involve tribunals and guillotines. 🙃
