This is something I can actually speak on, as I’ve done research projects specifically on detecting solar radiation management (SRM) deployments. First of all, it’s contrails you (MTG and these idiots, not “you”) dumbfucks, as in “condensation trails”. It’s just when hot exhaust causes moisture in the air to condense to create a cloud-like thing.

Secondly, cloud seeding has been used for many years already on small scales to help with precipitation management. It’s not a problem at these scales.

Thirdly, injecting aerosols into the stratosphere (SAI) to reflect sun energy back into space is a big research field but it’s generally concluded that it shouldn’t be done because A) it’s extremely expensive to make any actual affects at a useful scale, and B) if it was used, it could potentially cause a termination shock (you can look it up).

Fourthly, marine cloud brightening is a useful way to get some of the effects of SAI without the huge risks or high costs.

In conclusion, fuck MTG and MAGA, they’re dumb, greedy, and hateful, and need to face justice.

It’s clear you don’t really understand the wider context and how historically hard these tasks have been. I’ve been doing this for a decade and the fact that these foundational models can be pretrained on unrelated things then jump that generalization gap so easily (within reason) is amazing. You just see the end result of corporate uses in the news, but this technology is used in every aspect of science and life in general (source: I do this for many important applications).

That’s not what I said. It’s absolutely dystopian how Musk is trying to tailor his own reality.

What I did say (and I’ve been doing AI research since the AlexNet days…) is that LLMs aren’t old school ML systems, and we’re at the point that simply scaling up to insane levels has yielded results that no one expected, but it was the lowest hanging fruit at the time. Few shot learning -> novel space generalization is very hard, so the easiest method was just take what is currently done and make it bigger (a la ResNet back in the day).

Generally, yes. However, there have been some incredible (borderline “magic”) emergent generalization capabilities that I don’t think anyone was expecting.

Modern AI is more than just “pattern matching” at this point. Yes at the lowest levels, sure that’s what it’s doing, but then you could also say human brains are just pattern matching at that same low level.

Of course they manipulate us, and pass voter suppression/gerrymandering laws that have been ruled unconstitutional multiple times, etc. That doesn’t mean they didn’t also take more drastic measures to win the election.

SMART and ETA lawsuits in a few states, you can google it yourself

Let me preface it with: yes we need multiple independent verifications of the analysis, pulling from their own state data source, using their own code, to show the same thing, before we can really take this seriously. I would fully expect Russia to help one side cheat, then expose it to the other (let’s assume they’re backing up these SMART and ETA groups), in order to sow even more internal chaos. So yes, take it all with a grain of salt.

However, the big things were the drop off rate (difference between presidential candidate and next position on the ballot) being really suspect against Harris, and after a certain number of ballots were cast in any given machine the rates separated quite a bit for Trump. Why would more popular locations in a city favor Trump more, and why specifically only after a certain number of votes on that machine? Also the Russian Tail is visible in many precincts. Finally there wasn’t a single country/precinct that flipped to Harris, which hasn’t been done in over 100 years. Even Reagan’s landslide election had a few flip to Mondale.

Do you think that all of these elections were so close, and yet such a landslide for Trump somehow, oh and also all of them were just large enough to not trigger an automatic recount? Then all of the shit Trusk have said about the elections: not needing the votes, Elon knows the computers, etc.

All of this is enough to at least further investigate. I fully believe this is something they would do.

Yeah my hopes aren’t high, but I don’t think no one would do a thing. I think Democrats would call for investigations, Republicans would mock them and say “who are the election deniers now”, and Fox/OAN/Twitter would pave it over like it’s a bunch of crazies.

Musk had his one of his DOGE boys (Ethan Shaotran) and several others manipulate the vote tabulation code in swing states to hand Trump the election.

There are already several lawsuits in a few states to get recounts and full audits. I think Nevada, New York, maybe another, from SMART and ETA.

We’re all just waiting to see him openly admit to messing with the tabulator systems in the election. He could get some kind of plea bargain, and try to save his reputation (though it wouldn’t work).

To anyone curious look up the lawsuits from SMART and Election Truth Alliance already being filed in several states. Lots and lots of “statistical irregularities” that look a lot like Russian ballot stuffing in Soviet Bloc countries.
