Yeah sometimes, I mean not specifically that, thats pretty specific, but i think getting thoughts like that is fairly common.

When im the passenger in a car I think theres nothing actually stopping me from just grabbing the wheel and swerving us into oncoming traffic. Im stronger than the driver and have the element of surprise. I could end so many lives and ruin countless more in about 2 seconds of a really easy move.

Then I shit myself because every single car could do that at any moment.

I never finished Tunic, I got stuck on some relatively simple fight and it put me right off it. Always vowed to come back but I havent yet.

I loved how it took me back to being 3 years old though playing my dads Nintendo. Can sort of work out what the manual is telling me based on pictures, but cant read the language.

I was so hyped for it, to play with my boy, before learning theres no local co-op. Still havent bought it.

I started it way too late. Spent the first few hours having to solo while getting spammed with duel requests, like seriously every second a flag came down. I accepted a couple and got wrecked immediately while they spammed lolololoolol noooooooobbbbbbbbbb stomped rek lol doing the dance emote.

By the time I got to the “real game” and its time to party up to do dungeon runs, nobody would let me join their group because I didnt have full epic perfect-spec’d gear. Which i cant get without doing the dungeon. Which i cant do because I dont have the gear.

Just uninstalled it. Didnt even make it past the free trial. I’m still baffled, because a game like that lives or dies based on its player count, and the players make it as hostile and inaccessible as possible for new players.

Thats where I stopped. I played the prologue and was having a blast, then you get to the first camp and it shows you all the stuff youre expected to do and it just looked like hassle.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 kind of fits the bill for me here. I wanted to play it from the moment I learned about it. I had zero experience with 1, or any other dragon quest games. My biggest issue, and im still quite angry about it, is that the game I wanted to play, and the game the trailers promised actually does exist. Its all functional. The only way to play it though is the campaign, and its so frustratingly hand-holding and text-heavy it actually hurt to play.

Head back to the base, get talked to by the quest giver for a solid minute about the importance of the bronze room. Then the concept of the silver room comes up. You think 'that was a really really really long-winded tutorial, but they’ll leave me alone to do the silver and gold now that I know what to do. No. Go back to the top of that list but replace BRONZE with SILVER. Then gold. Then do it again and again and again until the credits roll and you realise the game never actually happens and you just wasted a bunch of your life and you’ll never ever get it back and they could have made an excellent game, and they actually did, they just wouldn’t let you play it.

Im still pretty bitter about that whole experience.

Everyone has most traits of most mental health issues to some extent. Its not a useless classification though. Classic example is everyone pees but if youre doing it 40 times a day its probably time for the doctors.

Im remarkably childish, and when asked a question the first thing that pops into my head is often “your mom”. I live in Scotland now and “yer maw” is how they say that.

To the untrained eye, yermaw looks like it could be a real name, or some weird DnD monster or something so I got away with that to some extent.

At the end of the season hand out surveys to the public ranking perception of contestants/events.

I think we will all learn a lot and it will be an excellent experience for us all and im honestly quite annoyed that nobody has done this yet.

Im a little worried about that. I’m both hoping for and am terrified of it being the Roy game from Rick and Morty.

I’d be relieved because I’d get an “extra life” style of thing, but also I’d be fucking mortified seeing all my pals around waiting for their turn, having watched me goon my turn away.

There’s warzones, scientific breakthroughs to pioneer, robot pets, space exploration, gargantuan beasts to take down, lost treasures to find, and I’m just sat at the cartoon-titties box thr whole time.

I would love for an AI machine to be all knowing and all pervasive. It honestly sounds like it could be great.

Except definitelt not because we know 100% that nobody could be trusted to be in charge of it.

I used to love watching Alex Jones while stoned. Just imagine hes right and youre being clued in on some super top secret knowledge.

They kinda do, but I dont think its due to exposure to it, theyre just amazingly easy to use these days. They’re very very intuitive.

I have no idea how my phone works, because I’ve never needed to learn. Its always just done exactly what I need it to do. I used to know pretty much everything about windows XP though.

My wife opens Facebook on my phone a lot because shes nosy. Last time I opened my phone and it was already open. I scrolled for about 2 minutes waiting to see if anything would interest me, nothing did. Eventually it came up with a real person’s name and I realised I wasnt on reddit.

Took it fucking ages to do the one thing I would want it to do.
