just to say, I was close with a person who happened to be an antioch orthodox bishop who explained that their faith goes only on what jesus said before people took over and made a bunch of stuff up.

he explained I didnt have to believe, there is no hell, jesus loves me and when I die ill know jesus and be with my deceased loved ones in heaven no matter what I do.

The reason I don’t like it is because its infantile. Fox News hosts use the term all the time to dismiss quite true statements about whomever they’re defending because they’re talking to stupid people who need to have things dumbed down in order to understand them.
