As an American I’m not really a fan of it mainly because it’s different from the World standard. We are the only country that insists on doing it different. It would not be hard to change either. I would love for it to change but it’s not something I’m putting a lot of time or thought into right now.
This puts it so well. There are plenty of leftest I could disagree with and sometimes do. But when we are coming from similar ethicis and world view then I can respect it.

To be fair it will be about as gental as it’s terminal volocity. Which is hard but like not that bad.

I STRONGLY disagree with this move. Once you give into one country it can way to easily lead to others (with more power) also trying.
If they ever make this a standard feature in all TVs and make it where I can’t just disconnect it from the internet, I will be using old TVs for the rest of my life.
My TV is there to display a visual output. It does not and should not do anything else.
I don’t get why they listened to the Turkish government. There not (to my understanding) registered there or have any kind of assests there.
Good, because we all know international bodies won’t do anything. I hope they are fully investigated and prosecuted. I hope if they commited war crimes they are fully punished.
