I really hope the Steam suite pushes the tide.

Tolkien is rolling in his grave.

My partner has a bog standard Weseary headset and the knobs don’t work on Linux. Setting up his gaming mouse from Logitech was also a nightmare. Linux needs to work on it’s plug and play for normies, as much as I love it.

Heat rises and some memes are fire.

AFAB. It got easier after I figured myself out more and treated underlying anxiety issues. I don’t think it had to do with gender but I don’t know. Some of those anxieties are exasperated or influenced by cultural factors and social roles of course. So, I suppose it depends on where those feelings and stopgaps are on an individual level to some degree. That being said, I find trans people’s experiences particularly enlightening on these topics as many have seen both sides of the coin and then some. I hope some of you guys can chime in here.

Get involved and build resilience in your local community to emancipate yourselves from these institutions.

Edit: This resilience will help build and maintain and more importantly sustain the structural support for things like general strikes. People need to eat.

I use ninite to do basic utility installations on fresh installs too… https://ninite.com/
But yeah, I’ve used it with both Win 10 & 11 for the last few years. Very simple, but great.

Run after your upgrade. :)

I think I got it.

Sorry about the source, but it’s hard to beat an open admission.

You keep asking me: “How do I study theory better?” But, theory, as you say, makes your head spin. You lose focus. You can’t find words to summarize it. So my question back is: Why are you trying to force yourself to study theory? What do you actually want to understand? Not “I want to study socialism,” because socialism itself is just a method. Socialism is a tool, not an answer. A hammer without a nail. What questions do you have? What do you want to know about the world? What problems do you care about and want to solve? What do you care about and why? Once you know what you want to understand, learning becomes effortless.
ps: always happy to soundboard :)

You keep asking “how do I get better at the thing that doesn’t work for me” and I am saying “stop doing the thing because it isn’t the only or ‘correct’ way of doing things," not that there is a correct way. You aren’t asking the right questions or starting with questions if you are stuck here. Start figuring you what you want to know.
Yes, he had some macros to set up and is totally new to Linux, however he ended up temporarly back on Windows as he has an Nvidia card (5000 series) and their Linux drivers have not caught up yet with the new tech. Once they do he is switching back.
