We are cracking on but yeah, we are staying cautious and not moving away from the alpha label until we are ready. The beta label will come when we are “feature complete” and are only testing for bugs and regressions before going to “general release”.
As not to have an influx of users who aren’t self reliant, we have intentionally left roadblocks like a more difficult installer as we don’t want people to get the impression that this is user focused “yet”.

We are however starting to change that position. We released a blog post yesterday (https://aerynos.com/blog/2026/08/31/a-community-that-works-together-builds-together/) where we talk about an upcoming major installer update, though it wasn’t quite ready in time for this monthly progress post.
