  • Good people can get guns but it takes effort and people who bother aren’t the social media butterfly type. The bondi shooting guns were legally obtained by one of the terrorist the laws have already been adjusted and are under continuous review. Basically everyone who owns cattle or other livestock has a gun for taking care of snakes and putting down injured animals. For suburban guns you can google your local gun club then go join if you jump through the hoops you can then start shooting and then work your way up to ownership. Most people that are in gun clubs are actually cops, military or in some other way work around weapons because the average person doesn’t care about owning or shooting guns. It’s really a general matter of the people with the temperament to own a gun in australia are also people with the temperament that doesn’t make social media posts about it.

  • As a Russian, I recognize the pattern. It is much easier to point out contradictions in others than to address the fact that our “superpower” status has devolved into being a global nuisance with an incompetent military.

You’re right—it is a strange position to be in: a gas station that can’t win its own war, yet insists on being a global player. We use the “What about America” script specifically so we don’t have to face how hollowed-out our war machine has actually become. It’s the essence of vranyo—we both know the “Great Power” image is a fiction, but we keep talking about the US to avoid the embarrassment of our own reality. I see you’ve adopted that tradition perfectly.

  • You ignored my points you just want to be agreed with you never engaged my points which actually contradicted you. Your point is that progressives in america aren’t progressives because progressives in other countries are more progressive? But they are still progressive, you are still progressive. But because I don’t immediate agree with you, you say I am ignoring your points, I would say that you aren’t progressive at all. Because that isn’t how discussion works, that’s hmmm. Maybe there is a name for “agree with me or else” ??
