Tbh if its a social/discussion based website, it will have federal agents monitoring it. Lemmy isn’t free from this either, though in our defense we are probably pretty low on the watchlist (but then again who knows)

I could shrink it down to 20 a week if I just eat chicken, rice, and bok choy, but I’ve been trying to challenge myself to meal prep a different meal every week
If a hobby exists there’s probably a local group for it
Things like hiking, biking, gardening are the most common
Off shore rigs/commercial fishing
I like the ocean but I think I might go insane there
That’s because the people who are fine or happy with firefox aren’t the type of people to talk about it, the vocal ones are the people that have complaints
Also swapped to Niagara a few years back and paid for the pro license last year or so

282·4 months agoNew zealand is extremely prone because its home to flightless birds and other similar species that never grew up against land predators of this nature. That’s why cats and even rats are especially dangerous. These flightless birds have no real way of protecting their young and even themselves.
It’s sad for cats because we see them as companions and pets, but new zealand holds a lot of critically endangered species that simply cannot exist anywhere else
I don’t think just spaying is enough. It’d have to be capture or even worst case euthanize. Leaving cats and any nonnative predator is especially harsh on local species each second they are in the wild because new zealand is one of the few places with flightless birds like the kakapo, which are critically endangered (just one step away from being extinct in the wild)
