I don’t trust anything that goes online

They have CIA they have espionage they have all sorts of things. They don’t have full state owned media. They don’t get by default access to your data. Companies can and have refused.
To say China and the US are the same for their citizens is just stupid …

Fair enough , done a little digging. Some things definitely make me question some things

I have nothing against Chinese people. I have the same fear of Russian owned products. I have the same concern with US companies with seedy backgrounds. It’s purely an issue of government/ agency not the color of the skin.
And I’m sorry to say “china doesn’t give a shit about you” I don’t buy that. I’ve heard of some borderline ridiculous stuff governments do on citizens of foreign countries. The US included.
I got my answer in an albeit odd way. Yes they track. So I’ll keep avoiding.

And this where I as a trolling CIS male might be able to do some good
Mike Flynn is an advisor for them. A spy for Russia. I can’t say this gives me warm and fuzzies
While there is no way to completely protect your email I am big believer in minimizing vulnerability. It’s somewhat nice to know your email provider at least isn’t reading your direct emails. Most of my correspondence comes from auto reply emails. It’s the same I recommend to people still on Windows or MacOS. Use apps with no telemetry as much as possible. That to me would include email.
