They already said they were working on this with Valve awhile ago, and they’ve had images and guides on how to do this in their support KB for quite awhile now: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht517492-how-to-install-steamos

I think you may be thinking of Legion Go S. This is Legion Go 2. As far as I’m aware, the fact that it even exists is new.
