I forgot to get blueberries last Sunday, and I ran out yesterday, so I went shopping early. Frozen berries with cream, cinnamon, and cashews is my nightly treat. I considered doing without till Sunday, but just went shopping early, instead.

    Government banning business on a particular day is an overreach and is usually just religious people making demands that others live their religious laws instead of any good will intentions.

    It is not religious in any way and the store is still allowed to be open if the owner is there running it afaik. So small shops can still be open but most big chains are closed and that’s perfectly fair so that the employees get sundays off like regular people.

    Worker wellfare seems foreign to some people it seems

      It is absolutely rooted in religious doctrine. And people already get weekends off, unless they opt for a schedule where they work over a weekend.
