If she had actually changed she wouldn’t have resigned; she’d have stayed in Congress and fought them.
She slid out at the perfect time. She’ll be a well paid talking head in the midterms and go on a lucrative lecture tour afterwards. She’ll probably run in the 2028 primaries and go into the Convention with enough support to make a great deal for herself.
When it was advantageous for her to play the rube she played the rube. Now she is playing at reform.
If you want to assume short term political posturing is 180d behavior I think it’s going to take more than 3 months to prove it’s how she really is now.
