    Careful with that “blue no matter who”. Progressive issues are important. But like everything else, it can go too far. Thinking otherwise is a dangerous philosophy to have.

      In November every 2 years, vote democrat if there is no other alternative. Be active in primaries (that select dem candidates), and volunteer for progressives from any party, but if they’re not going to win in November, don’t vote for them (unless Dem wins anyway), but go back to supporting them the next day.

        I get that. Voting Democrat is useful as an emergency rule when the alternative is clearly worse. I’m just saying that blind loyalty can backfire. I do not agree with “no matter who.” That phrase rots the spine. Once a party knows your vote is automatic, it has less reason to earn it. That is how standards get buried under tribal loyalty and panic. Strategy is good. Obedience is not.
