Astronomers at the University of Warwick have discovered that black holes don’t just consume matter—they manage it, choosing whether to blast it into space as high-speed jets or sweep it away in vast winds.
Stuff gets ejected all the time before it hits the Event Horizon, and then it’s gone (to form a new universe inside the BH, I like to personally think). At the same time there’s also Hawking Radiation, which evidently does radiate material out of the BH at a very small rate.
So there IS something comming out of it? maybe we can go and safe the guy from interstellar?
