  • I drink it with milk but my wife is lactose intolerant so she has it with oat. She prefers it to almond and soy milk, however there are vast differences between brands and types.

If you want to try something genuinely competitive, I found the “barista” Oatley to be very good. Typically if it’s marketed for barista use, it’s thick and uses a different binding that works better in coffee. It’s not good for cereal and stuff, though, it often feels like drinking half and half. Lol

  • Lol, I can’t believe you’d say Love Hina since that was the first anime I pirated for a friend on his request and it ended up being the first one I saw that wasn’t like, Dragon Ball or Sailor Moon. It wasn’t great, but the second one I pirated and therefore saw was Chobits, which was.

I guess my childhood isn’t too different from others, although we’ve never had the money to actually buy anime until streaming was a thing. Back then, it was like 30 dollars for a few episodes on dvd l…

  • My wife’s at a major video game company that, oddly enough, hasn’t gone crazy over AI. Since she’s in localization, she uses DeepL which has some machine learning, but not really an LLM and LLMs aren’t really being pushed on her since it’s a downgrade. From what I can tell, their dev team is also just keeping things human made, although they’re in Japan so that might contribute.

They aren’t saints, they did try to union bust a few years back, but their stance on AI, as well as creativity first mentality and recent pay raise guarantees and whatnot, kinda show they’re paying attention.

  • Most recently, Slay the Princess. It’s a VN, and I typically do not play VNs, but wow. It’s actually quite amazing and I can’t actually tell you why because it’d spoil it.

I get pleasantly surprised all the time though, since I like to use a randomizer to choose my next game sometimes. I think one of the other experiences was the Rusty Lake games. I got them in a bundle and since it was a puzzler, I had my friend join me in comms and it was… very strange. But we will use references from those games as insider nods to one another.

  • Given that I will sometimes reflect for a whole day on just a comment getting a couple down votes, I can’t imagine how someone who actually posts stuff feels.

But hey, it’s the world wide web, you’re bound to get a few people like that just like driving on a freeway, there’s always a possibility of someone brake checking you because they disliked your coexist bumper sticker or something.

  • It uh… It actually gets considerably worse? But sure, faster, around halfway.

8 chapters of open world, remaining is more like FFXIII linear gameplay with a story that obviously was written by someone else. The pacing changes dramatically, too. You’ll know the halfway mark because you will be warned you can’t go back to the open world.

The DLC has it’s moments, I guess. You kind of need it to fully get the story.
