You have to explicitly go to the “visual matches” tab otherwise it’s absolute junk (promoted stuff, image recognition). Even then, it’s not good at “explaining what something is or where it might be from”, it’s good at taking an image and visually matching it to other images, often completely unrelated as a result lol

I love google lens’ visual matches but the whole LLM being forced on you thing is so infuriating. Why are you hiding a genuinely useful ‘image to image’ search behind a pointless wall of text that’s not written to be read?
