I assume the more snobbish part of me told me I would hate Freaky Friday but I saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and, honestly, it was more than okay, and also very sweet and wholesome. 🤷

Ever since the coup before the start of the war in Ukraine, European leaders should have understood that America doesn’t care where the battlefield is as long as there is one, and Europe is just as valid as Iraq and Somalia. 🤷

The consequences are getting downvoted and ending up in ridiculous arguments sometimes, it barely counts, lol. Bans are very rare from what I’ve seen, but then again they’re rarely necessary.

Now, will people disagree with you in very emotional ways, downvote without giving any explanation, etc etc.? Sure! But you won’t get banned for opposing Western imperialism, for instance. I mean, I talk about God and give people shit for being vacuous, hedonistic and self-centered (because that’s at the core of many sociocultural issues) and I haven’t been banned, at most I get boo’d. 😅

I think you’re confused: this is a proxy war between the US/NATO and Russia, using mostly Ukrainian lives. The big boys table involves Trump and Putin, lol, they’re the decision makers here, Zelensky is just a handpicked puppet. 🤷

Some people have their identities tied to their motherland, feel like they have to cosign their sins and have emotional reactions when people are critical of it. 🤷

I think “perfect” anything is hard/impossible to properly think of, and the concept of a perfect life is, at the very least, extremely childish. “Good life” is understandable and achievable, and I guess it involves feeling like you belong, like your life has purpose, and being accompanied and cared for by those close to you, in whatever shape those things come?

America was founded on genocide, built on slavery and empowered by starting/promoting wars around the world… ICE is nothing new for the American psyche and just one of many American sins. 🤷

Make it ethics and moral indignation free and maybe, but that kinda means making an online discussion place “opinion free” to some degree, lol.

Most people (at least in the West and Latin America, from my experience) actually have it easy enough that suicide would never actually be an option. Their brains are just overreacting. Knowing that (that you actually love life too much and aren’t free willed, courageous and certain about your suicidal ideation to do anything real about it), just catch yourself (“ah, I’m just being silly”) and go about your day. Some people are in situations that make suicide a very appealing option, don’t get me wrong, but 99.9999% of folks aren’t and never will be. Don’t worry, you’ll die eventually! 🤣

Half of the people online are women (and they’re not all mature, sensible grandmas but also Karens and silly teens) and the West as a whole has an allergy to personal responsibility… add those two things and you understand why some female spaces are simply toxic and unfit for any deep, personal discussion that could end in disagreements. It’s really no crime (and women aren’t out there raping and murdering!) but you have to remember this so you’re not shocked/displeased.

Have to be wary of it and it’s much better to let it go, kinda like booze. There are worse forms of brain poison.

Either circumstantial changes like the rise of the global South (not counting those that have been up for a while because they sleep with the West) will mean the end of Western imperialism or it’ll kill us all (the rest by the West, the West by their own hands and ecological collapse). These dreams are too unrealistic even for me, and I believe in the unseen! 🥲😭

It’s a collection of books, at least half if not more of them clearly state their author,(and none of them say “this is God, btw”), and the foundation of many faiths, what about it? It’s a pretty cool collection!

Do you think I condone horrible things done “in the name of God”? As if God asked us to just be horrible to each other, lol. Those are them, this is me, as long as I don’t follow or cosign it, I’m clean. And so is any Westerner that denounces these things the way I just did. 👍
