Now hopefully the UK will finally stop letting the US use them as an aircraft carrier… right?
I’m just a silly old car with bad opinions

Yup. My old job had liebert (now vertiv) UPSs for our data center and those suckers were essentially just thousands of pounds of lead acid batteries stacked in a metal chassis

Or David and Goliath according to a certain religious text

It’s really amazing how this country just ran on word and vibes up to this point. Turns out you could just do whatever and nobody would have the cajones to stop you

My wife and I are in need of a truck since we moved to a rural area and need one for stuff like trash disposal and whatnot. We’ve decided to get something practical like a hundai santafe or honda ridgeline

I teach digital literacy and 99% of unsavory software I encounter on people’s phones come from the play store or app store
I will believe that they’re serious about protecting users when I see them do something about the crap ton of borderline scam solitaire and weather apps infesting their stores

Well if you’re in the US you can head down to your LGS, buy a Glock 19 and do some plinking while you wait for the software to install on your phone :/

Oops, you caught us, we’re sorry! We promise not to do it again! (In the next 3-6 months, restrictions apply, refer to your EULA for details)

It would be so cool to have something like this integrated into your monitoring platform. Imagine being able to “tap” on a switch in a rack and be able to view it’s mac table or port assignments
I mean, this exact thing has already happened with other services. Hulu used to have a free ad supported tier and a paid ad free tier, for example
Give it six months, maybe a year. There WILL be ads in YouTube premium and you’ll have to pay another premium on top of that for ad free.

Post its have their problems but at least they can’t be read half a globe away

The last truly good OS was 7. 10 is only good in comparison to 8 and 11

My best guess is they want to use the raw materials on more profitable products. Kinda like how consumer PSUs are going up in price. The materials are being used for enterprise PSUs in the datacenter

Cool, Maintenance said we can use their appliance dolly if we let em watch

Nope, I’m on bare metal :)

Whenever I got called for an issue, I would tell the user “eh, just throw it out the window,” and then they would laugh like I was joking or something

Nope, it absolutely won’t let you

Then what even is the point of all this? At my old job the idiot intern was sorting patch cables in a box
